2026 KTB ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

The Katy Tiger Band (KTB) Alumni Scholarship is a one-time financial award given to a graduating senior involved with “That Roarin’ Band from Tigerland.” The scholarship amount for 2026 is a minimum of $1,500.

Initiated by a small group of band alumni from the Class of 2006, the scholarship now includes contributors from other graduating classes. This scholarship allows us to give back to the program that invested in us during our time as band students and significantly contributed to our personal development.

The scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior in good standing with the KTB program who meets the following criteria:



HISTORY OF SERVICE

Has demonstrated service to the Katy Tiger Band program through student leadership and/or exceptional work ethic



MUSICAL ACCOMPLISHMENT

Has a record of musical achievement during their high school band career



EDUCATIONAL PURSUIT & FINANCIAL NEED

Exhibits financial need and plans to attend a four-year university, two-year college, or technical/vocational school (the applicant need not major in a musical field)
